Acrylic on canvas. Inspired by the Giallo sub-genre in film, originating from early-mid 20th century yellow pulp novels in Italy (Giallo translating to yellow). Many of these stories and later films had thematic elements of detective noir, whodunnit murder mysteries, and psychological horror.
